Is Petrosphere an accredited CPD provider?
Petrosphere Incorporated is an accredited CPD provider of the Professional Regulations Commission Board of Nursing Council with accreditation number 2017-180 valid until July 31, 2020.
What are the accredited programs?

How many units can I earn per year?
As per the CPD guidelines, per year, the maximum that you can earn is 15 units, regardless of the units you earned. And in the 3-year period of having the PRC license, you need to complete at least 15 units each year (unless otherwise more units are required by the CPD Council).
How much units do I need to renew my PRC license?
This would depend on your PRC license, however for registered nurses, 45 units are needed to successfully renew your license in a given 3-year duration.
Is CPD really necessary and required?
Yes, it is mandatory as required by law and by the Professional Regulations Commission. It is simply not about compliance, but to be in adept of your professional skills and knowledge, and to be current in the practice of your profession. Internationally, CPD is required in almost all countries, especially in the UK, USA, Australia, and Canada.
Why getting CPD units is expensive?
There are training courses / seminars that are provided for free and are being sponsored by institutions, however, your employer can also cover for the expenses for you to earn your CPD units.
I attended a training / seminar and I am not sure if it has CPD units. What shall I do to get approved CPD units?
You can file it as a self-directed learning and submit it in the PRC CPD Council. A fee of Php 500.00 per course and the council will determine the units earned.
